The 14th International Civil Engineering Congress commenced on October 21 at Sharif University, attended by a group of industry specialists and building professionals. The first day focused on enhancing construction quality, improving resource efficiency, and the role of engineering in shaping the future of cities and society.
In his presentation, Mr. DoostMohammadi, CEO of Nexa Group, emphasized:
"The goal is not merely to construct buildings, but to create an impact on people and transform the face of society."
During his presentation, Mr. DoostMohammadi shared his organization’s experience, explaining that in recruiting talent, only 15% of the focus is on technical knowledge, while 85% is placed on alignment with organizational culture, professional ethics, and social skills. He emphasized that training and development occur within the organization, and academic education alone does not make an individual truly skilled and impactful.
The key message of Mr. DoostMohammadi’s speech was that cultivating committed and aware human resources is the cornerstone of the construction industry’s development and its impact on society.
