The specialized event “Construction Industry Solutions in Times of Crisis” was held from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran, hosted by Samanews. Attended by senior executives, construction industry players, investors, engineers, and specialists, the event examined the challenges and opportunities facing the construction industry amid changing economic conditions.

Alongside the “Dream Home” exhibition, which hosted brands and companies active in building materials, equipment, and construction services, a series of specialized panels and training sessions was held, where participants exchanged experiences and presented practical solutions for dealing with a complex market environment.

On the second day of the event, Eng. Doustmohammadi, CEO of Nexa Group, took part in a specialized panel titled “Examining the End of the Tourism Land Deadlock.” The session focused on the development potential of tourism land, the obstacles standing in the way of putting these assets to use, and practical ways to activate their economic and development capacity.

In his remarks, Eng. Doustmohammadi said that players in the construction industry have a responsibility beyond erecting buildings and can play an effective role in developing the tourism industry. He stressed the need to build hotels and accommodation facilities that meet international standards, calling this approach one of the requirements for making effective use of the country’s tourism capacity.

The panel discussed various aspects of investment, planning, and development of tourism land, as well as the new mixed-use zoning resolution for land (residential, commercial, and hotel). Participants emphasized the need for a long-term outlook, innovative approaches, and synergy among different sectors to make effective use of this potential.
