On October 22, 2025, Nexa Group held a specialized panel titled
“Innovative Design and Implementation of the Bridge and Cantilever Structure in the SidePark Residential Building”
as part of the 14th International Civil Engineering Congress at Sharif University of Technology.

The session was conducted in two separate segments, during which Nexa’s design and engineering team reviewed the development and execution of one of the country’s most complex residential structures from both design and implementation perspectives.

Panel 1 – Design Segment:
Architect Alireza Sharafati, the project architect of SidePark, explained the architectural design approach and how the main ideas of the project were developed.
Following him, Dr. Mohammad KhanMohammadi, the structural designer, discussed the challenges in designing the 12-meter cantilever and 42-meter bridge structures.
The scientific committee for this segment included Dr. Seyed Ali Razavi Tabatabaei (Faculty, University of Tehran) and Dr. Maryam Ghasemi (Project Manager, SidePark).
This segment was held from 9:00 to 10:30 in the Rabiei Hall.

Panel 2 – Implementation Segment:
The project execution team presented technical details of constructing the bridge and cantilever structures and the challenges faced during the construction phases.
Presenters included Engineer Morteza Ghadyani (NexaTech Manager), Dr. Maryam Ghasemi (SidePark Project Manager), and Dr. Jamal Mahmoudi (Head of Structural Engineering, Technical Office).
The scientific committee for this segment consisted of Dr. Alireza Aghababaei (Chairman of Nexa Group) and Dr. Seyed Ali Razavi Tabatabaei (Faculty, University of Tehran).
This segment took place from 11:00 to 12:30.

The SidePark residential project is being developed by NexaTech, a subsidiary of Nexa Group.

The panel provided a platform for knowledge exchange among architecture and structural engineering professionals.
During the session, Nexa’s team systematically reviewed the design and execution stages of the SidePark project, examining technical, managerial, and implementation challenges from multiple perspectives.
